Cyprian, 10-letni sierota, wychowywany przez ukochaną babcię, marzy, by zostać prawdziwym bohaterem. Niespodziewanie babcia umiera, a nad Cyprianem zawisa groźba sierocińca. Teraz musi zmierzyć się z prawdziwą stratą i uświadomić sobie, co to znaczy być bohaterem w obliczu cierpienia.
Cyprian, 10 years old orphan, raised by his beloved grandmother, dreams to become a real hero. Suddenly his grandmother dies and a threat of an orphanage hangs over Cyprian. Now he has to confront with the real loss and realize what it means to be a hero in the face of suffering.

Ukończyła Scenografię na Akademii Sztuk Pięknych w Krakowie oraz Reżyserię Filmową w Szkole Filmowej im. Krzysztofa Kieślowskiego na Uniwersytecie Śląskim w Katowicach. Bohater” jest jej filmem dyplomowym. Jej poprzednie filmy były pokazywane na festiwalach na całym świecie, m.in. na Palm Springs International Film Festival, Cleveland International Film Festival, Moscow International Film Festival i Shanghai International Film Festival.
Graduated of Scenography on Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow and graduated of Film Directing on Krzysztof Kieślowski Film School at the University of Silesia in Katowice. ‘The Hero’ is her graduation film. Her previous films have been shown on festivals all around the world, including such as Palm Springs International Film Festival, Cleveland International Film Festival, Moscow International Film Festival and Shanghai International Film Festival.
